At ENT and Facial Plastics of Shady Grove, we are proud to have highly experienced board-certified nurse practitioner whose extensive background enriches our practice. With over 22 years of nursing experience and 15 years as a nurse practitioner, Marianne has dedicated her career to both patient care and nursing education. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by a master’s degree from Georgia Southern/Armstrong Atlantic University, culminating in a PhD in nursing from the University of Virginia.
Marianne’s clinical focus has evolved to integrate her lifelong passion for neuroscience with aesthetics, allowing her to approach patient care from a unique and comprehensive perspective. This enhances her understanding of the physiological and biologic effects of aesthetic laser therapy, ultimately providing a deeper level of care to her patients.

As a Nationally certified aesthetic laser specialist and the practice’s laser safety officer, Marianne oversees the safe and effective use of our advanced technologies. Marianne offers services to include utilizing our Nd: Yag, Er: Yag, IPL, and microneedling devices to provide rejuvenating treatments to help improve patient confidence.

Marianne is honored to be part of such a talented team of aesthetic specialists and is ready to help you achieve your goals. In her spare time, Marianne enjoys traveling the world with her family, cooking, and reading, especially on the beach.
