She received her Bachelor of Science from Ursinus College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She then completed her Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Her internship and residency were completed at National Capital Consortium at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in 2013. Following a 3 year position in Japan as a Staff Otolaryngologist, she completed a 2 year accredited Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at University of Irvine, California. Shen continued to serve as an Active Duty Facial Plastic Surgeon at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, specializing in complex rhinoplasty and Facial Feminization Surgery. She served as Chair of the Otolaryngology Department at Walter Reed for 2 ½ years and established the multidisciplinary surgical team for Transgender Surgical Care.

Dr. Goodrich is double board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Goodrich believes strongly in care of the whole patient and working together with each patient to develop a custom treatment plan which emphasizes a balanced and natural-appearing aesthetic.

In her spare time, Dr. Goodrich enjoys spending time with her 2 children, playing beach volleyball, salsa dancing and running.
